Christ is referred to as the Rock. Why because He is stable, unmovable, and strong. This piece of work took months to complete. Each rock was hand-chosen. The tiny rocks are one to two millimeters in size taken from the shores during my summer walks.

Each rock represents the piece of my broken life which Christ put back together with His power and grace and love. Each tiny rock which I picked was looked at and this rock might very well be thousands if not a million-year-old. For a rock to become a speck of sand means it was once a larger rock broken off from a mountain. This process took thousands if not millions of years to affect. Similar to our lives each broken piece is not abandoned or scattered but used for a greater purpose to God. Let God use all the small pieces of your life for His glory and for your healing and benefit. Amen.
