Human voices can be wonderful sounds of hope.

Growing up, at home- hearing the phone ring was a special treat. The phone was fixed in the study room. When it rang, my siblings or I, would dash for the phone in hopeful anticipation.

There was no call display then, but every call was welcomed and treated intently because we understood, it could be a friend calling.
