Suffering Alone
At some point in our life- suffering makes its unwanted visit. Most suffer alone. Some have a friend to help them through the journey of pain, and some rely on Christ to hold them up admits the storm.
Suffering is experienced internally, as an unwanted emotion. Living with cancer and sickness is an unbearably heavy burden.to bear. Because it is like a dirty feeling one wants to rid itself of. It's being internally weak, and not having the strength to ward of the invisible but obvious attack.
When this danger and its implications are of us- it scares us to great fear. God says that He does not give us a trail that we cannot bear, and therefore implore anyone who knows someone going through a severe trial to assist them in whatever way one can be of support and help.
Make sure the person knows that you are available to help them. Not everyone will want your help but to offer support, is the right thing to do.
Being ill is a job for Christ who when He died on the cross promised that He overcame death and all sickness. To us humans this sounds difficult to phantom as truth. But we have no choice but to believe and wait for the fulfilled promise to come to pass.
Therefore, belief and patience and trust in God's Word becomes our anchor of hope. Since God is not a liar we stand by His promises of healing and strength that our burden given to Him, will make our yoke lighter till the day of release from pain and suffering.
I do not dare to think I understand the depths of pain and suffering one goes through in trial, and therefore lift up to the throne of God their soul for keeping and healing.
"Jesus replied, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who stripped him and beat him and departed, leaving him half dead. Now by chance a priest was going down that road, and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. So likewise, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion. He went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him. " Luke 10:30
"Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2
